The Curl Styling Milk, the Clarifying
Shampoo, the Conditioner Light and Heavy do not contain protein; the Curl Defining Gel and the Cleansing Co-Wash do.

These take place in our Curly Hair Spa, located in North Amsterdam.

No, we do not work with chemicals. Our Curly Hair treatments consist of natural ingredients, such as oils and herbs.

That depends. In some cases, it is indeed possible to revive your curls
through a protein treatment. But this result is usually only achieved if the
damage to the hair is minimal. So keep in mind that a protein treatment does not guarantee you will get entirely healthy curls back. However, the remaining damage after the treatment is clearly visible, and you can choose to cut the part that no longer curls nicely. Our treatments do, however, contribute to the stimulation of hair growth. This way, we can help you create a personal hair routine to ensure that the hair that grows back healthy will also stay healthy.

Curlygirlmovement is all about caring for curly hair. We have therefore
chosen not to cut hair as well. We are, however, in contact with good curly hairdressers, so feel free to ask!

Children from eight years old are welcome for treatment. During the treatments, the child has to sit under a hot steam hood, and we do not consider this responsible for children under this age.

On our website, you can read what each treatment entails. If it still isn’t entirely clear and you don't exactly know what is suitable for your hair: No problem! On the day itself, we will assess which treatment is best for your hair.

Sure! You can visit our Curly Hair Spa with a plus one. Please note that, when making the appointment, you should reserve two spots in a row in the online agenda. This way, you are assured of the full three hours that will be made available to both of you.

Yes, this is indeed possible. If you leave your details and the available dates via the website, you are automatically placed on the waiting list, and you will receive an email when there is a cancellation.

If you cancel your appointment no later than 48 hours in advance, your deposit will be refunded. A refund is not possible for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.
